Many of you may be aware that on 31st March, it is Eiffel Tower Day. This is a holiday to celebrate the monument that proudly stands in the city of Paris. It also marks the completion of the Eiffel Tower in 1889. It took 2 years, 2 months and 5 days to build!
Gustave Eiffel was the principal engineer, who during the 100th anniversary of the French revolution decided to construct the tower for the International exhibition of Paris.
No matter where you are in the world you can celebrate this day. From wearing a t-shirt to baking a cake! You could also celebrate this day by remembering a previous trip to the city or Paris, or somewhere you would like to travel in the future.
