The Maps International team are all passionate travellers so, naturally, we relish the tales of other travel enthusiasts. With more and more adventure-seekers taking to the web to document their travels, and invite us along with them to share the journey, comes – literally -a whole world of fresh inspiration.

It would be impossible to list all the fantastic international travel blogs we’ve discovered, read, and loved recently, but we wanted to show some love for a few of our favourites, whom we also had the pleasure of collaborating with in 2016…

Beyond Blighty

Arianwen Morris was once crowned ‘Most Fearless Travel Blogger’ and we certainly agree. In 2016 she has been snorkelling, canyoning, and freediving, and has explored caves in Vietnam, as well as paddle boarding in the Phillipines. If you’re the active type of traveller, who can’t stay put on a sun lounger for more than 2 minutes, and yearns to get out and explore every inch of every place you visit, her blog is a must-read! Ari is also a proud owner of our Text Art World Map Canvas.

She Gets Around

We love Jenny Lowthrop for her philanthropy and her ability to use her adventurous spirit for good. Earlier this year, Jenny took up the challenge to #RoamForChange in aid of Toybox charity, helping the world’s street children. As well as fundraising and volunteering, Jenny also managed to take in Belize, Ibiza, Paris, Guatemala, and Montenegro in 2016. She certainly does get around! Jenny is a fan of our Personalised Antique World Map.

Where’s Mollie?

Londoner Mollie Bylett is currently in the middle of a 4-month solo travel adventure, taking in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. Mollie loves an adventure, but we love that she also takes the time to pamper herself while on her travels and manages to find a touch of glamour in every destination she visits. Mollie used our Personalised Classic World Map Pinboard to plan her current adventure.

We worked with some amazing travel bloggers in 2016, and we’re always on the lookout for new blogs to follow to get our fix of the exotic while in the office. We have big plans for our blogger friends in 2017, so watch this space!
