Now that we’ve survived (barely!) the first week or so of the new year, we thought it would do well to look on some of the best images all of you tagged us with, over the past year!

As map makers and travellers ourselves, we’re always excited to see how you, our lovely customers, have made our maps a part of your home. Therefore, in no particular order, here are our top 10 favourite images of our world maps and map gifts of 2019!

Why we love this

AtHomewiththeJohnsons is run by the exceptionally talented Chynna, who set up her blog and this lovely instagram channel as a way to document her family’s journey of relocating from Cambridgeshire to the south coast of Dorset. When we heard that she wanted a world map for her room, we could think of no better map than our stunning Scratch the world® map print in a delightful white frame, that would go with the rest of her room. Also, we cannot resist seeing kids react to our maps! How cute is that second image!

Why we love this

What the Redhead Said is a delightful blog run by Donna, a married mum of two, that documents her family’s life and activities, from days out, holidays, recipes and everything in between!  In September of this year, she shared this lovely picture of our Doodle World Map, that gave us a serious case of wanderlust. It’s the perfect map to encourage kids to be a bit more open about the world we live in, with lovely illustrations of animals and sights you will see across different continents. There really are no rules with this map, you can colour it any way you want, using various shades, to make it really stand out!

Why we love this

If it were not already obvious, Mike from Smile, there’s Gin, absolutely loves it, and his blog is chock full of everything gin-related you can think of, from tastings, guides to picking the right gin for your palette, and understanding more about your next favourite tipple! We couldnt think of a better map to accompany this than our Scratch Off UK Gin Distilleries print, personalised for Mike, and displaying the finest distilleries everyone should sample at least once. Whether you’re just beginning to try gin, been drinking it for years, or just want an opportunity to get into something new and fun, this map is the best choice for you. We love how Mike laid it out for this picture, do give his page a follow and read through!

We always love to see what you can do with our wall maps. Give us a tag @mapsinter and we may well feature your image or blog in the future!
