Map details: Our large environmental world wall map is a fantastic representation of the world's environmental terrain and the different environmental categories - tundra, forests, deserts etc. Country borders and major cities are shown. The map's key helps to identify the different land terrain. The map contains hill and sea shading making the map appear almost 3D.

Map uses: As with most of our maps, the huge world environmental wall map, is available in a range of finishes making it suitable for a variety of locations. You just need to make sure you have enough room to display it - this map really is huge (it's the size of a Smart Car!).

One of our most popular world maps - a great centrepiece for a room, or in an office. Looks amazing in offices, classrooms or even in the board room!

The map itself is beautiful, I am very pleased with it. I ordered it laminated with hanging bars, and the sides of the map keep turning outward from the wall. The hanging bars are plastic, not aluminium, which was surprising for the price.

An excellent map for both business and education and gives good details for capital cities and is very colourful. Must have a large wall!

Standard Finishes

Paper

Your map is printed onto 110 gsm paper and is left unfinished.

Laminated

Front Sheet Laminated

Your wall map will be finished with a front sheet lamination process. Front sheet lamination gives the map a write on wipe off finish, meaning that, using the appropriate pen (for whiteboard use) or Chinagraph pencil any writing on the map can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

Laminated

Your wall map will be finished with a gloss encapsulation process. Encapsulation means that the maps are heat sealed between two sheets of industrial quality film. Please note that the edges of this map are not sealed.

Encapsulation gives the map a write on wipe off finish, meaning that, using the appropriate pen (for whiteboard use) or Chinagraph pencil any writing on the map can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

Laminated with hanging bars

We gloss laminate your map and supply with a set of brushed aluminium effect hanging bars. This option is great for a low cost way to make your map look really smart. These allow you to hang the map using nails whilst adding a stylish finish.

Easy Map Frame

Easy Map Frame Brushed Aluminium Finish

Stylish aluminium brushed easy map frames have mitred corners and create a neat uncluttered frame .The frame is spring-loaded and can be opened with the fingertips.

Laminated and board mounted

Your map will be supplied gloss laminated and mounted onto hardboard (Foamex). A modern finish suitable for any use, at home or in the office. Fixed to the back of this board is a hanging mount allowing you to easily hang your map.

Laminated, pinboard mounted and framed

For this option, your map will be supplied gloss laminated, mounted on pinboard and framed in a brushed aluminium style frame, with a 16mm edging. This option gives you a stunning and useful display feature for your office or branch and offers you extremely good value for money.

Ready to be hung on the wall of any office or branch, your map will be supplied with a hanging kit. You are also able to use your map with drawing pins creating a useful operational tool.

Laminated, magnetic board mounted and framed

For this option, your map will be supplied gloss laminated, mounted on a metal backing and framed in a stylish brushed aluminium frame, with a 16mm edging. This option is our premium finish and is increasingly becoming more popular with our customers for use as an operational tool.

Ready to be hung on the wall of any office or branch, your map will be supplied with a hanging kit.

Laminated with roller blind system

Your map is supplied gloss laminated and fitted into a roller blind system. This enables you to roll the map up and down as required. Perfect for rooms with little space. This finish is especially popular with schools.

Premium Finishes

Canvas

Your map can be printed onto canvas and wrapped around a quality wood frame. The canvasses we use are amongst the best in the industry.

Acrylic finish

Acrylic

Your map can be directly printed onto acrylic giving a translucent finish. This is a high class finish but really needs a light neutral background wall colour. Each panel arrives with pre drilled holes in each corner and 4 aluminium wall fixings to enable you to attach the artwork to the wall of your home, office, shop, bar or hotel.
