Our online Map Vu wall map system allows you to choose the exact area you require on your wall map and doesn’t tie you to exact sizes; your map can be exactly the size you need it to be.

Creating your Map Vu map:
Choose your general centre location

• Either use our drop down place list or
• Enter your postcode

Select the map type you need for your wall map

• OS Landranger 1:50,000
• Map Vu 10 (street level mapping)
• Map Vu 40
• Map Vu 100
• Map Vu 200
• Map Vu 625 (atlas style mapping)

Use the zoom tools under the map to make sure your entire area is shown.
TIP – try to make sure you have zoomed in as far as possible before your area goes off the screen, this will make it easier for you to choose the exact size/area you need.


Size

• Here you can choose area or size of your wall map.
• If you know the size you want please enter it or
• If you know the size of area (km) you want please enter it or
• Choose one of our popular paper sizes or
• Using the large map on the right hand side, click at top left and then bottom right of the area you need to cover

If you choose the physical map size the area you will cover will automatically show to the right. If you choose to input the area (km) or use the map facility you want then the physical map size will show in the panel above


Boundaries

You can add a range of boundaries for free to your custom wall map. Choose from:

• Postcode areas (e.g. OX)
• Postcode Districts (e.g. OX1)
• Postcode Sectors e.g. OX1 1)
• Counties/Unitaries/Borough boundaries
• Parishes
• Constituencies
• Wards
• Local Authorities

Title

If you require a title added to your map add it here. This is normally added prominently above the key bar, however dependant on the setup of your map it may be positioned elsewhere.


Finish

We offer 5 different finishes suitable for any budget. Choose from:

• Paper
• Laminated
• Laminated with brushed aluminium hanging bars
• Laminated, pinboard mounted and framed (brushed aluminium)
• Laminated, magnetic board mounted and framed (Brushed aluminium)

Here you will see an overview of all the information you have chosen and the cost. (Please note that hanging bars and the framed options are VATable and this is added once you have put the map into the shopping basket).
